"great place and central location to city "

"I enjoyed my stay here at the Villa Doris. My suite was very clean and very well-maintained. The kitchen was nice with Miele appliances. The property is across the boardwalk that goes along the coast and made it very convenient to go for a scenic walk by the ocean. It’s also within 15-20 minutes walking distance to the old town. There’s a small grocery store in front of the round-about a few steps from the property so that was convenient as well. It was very nice and quiet, especially at night and safe to walk around even for a solo traveller. The property is next to an abandoned building though, not that it would affect anything else but just was taken a back a bit when first arrived. But overall it was an excellent stay and worth the price. I’d stay there again the next time in town. "

"If I could give more than 5 stars to rate rate this property I would do so. The property is so beautiful not only the ground but the lobby areas and the decor in the bedrooms. Would love to everything about this place. It’s also a great location. The staff were wonderful very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really good and there was a lot of variety in the food offered. The only thing to be aware of is I’d requested a garden view room and my room face the street and I don’t know if that’s considered the same thing but it didn’t appear so on Expedia. However, I didn’t say anything to the staff. I was still happy with the room. The grounds around the pool and even the main lobby are just so beautiful. The Chinese restaurant near the hotel is spectacular. Probably the best Chinese food I’ve eaten in 10 years."

"Everything was great except the master bed mattress in the unit- it was way too soft! This was our third time staying at this resort,each time a different unit. Never had a bad bed before. Otherwise,all was lovely."

"Excellent staff, outstanding breakfast, beautiful and comfortable rooms. Close to everything -- train station, marina, shopping, restaurants, boardwalk. Lovely pool. I'm not sure how this could be better. I would definitely come again. "
