"We paid for 2 studios/apartments but on arrival they would only allow us to have the 1. They also charged us €40 for having a friend around to the room on 2 occasions. One bed had a dip in it and our room wasn’t cleaned for the whole duration of our stay. There was no hot water in the shower and the fridge was also broken. "Honestly this place is a no go, I’m being completely honest there was 9 of us. 8 at majestic hotel and I had to book here as I wasn’t sure whether or not I was going to zante a couple months back but eventually did. "Best location. View from the balcony is amazing. However the facility is a bit old, although renovation has been done. The family room bathroom door cannot been closed. very little hand soap left in the dispenser so we ran out of the hand soap the remaining days. Water was not replenished everyday. Breakfast is good. delicious and wide variety. Cafe is right under the hotel which is very easy to grab food or drink or dessert at night."

"One night stay in a sea view apt. Lovely room with bathroom in the bedroom. Fantastic sea views and we loved our stay - however the cleanliness of the room was not up to standard and we felt a little disappointed by this. Mirrors - shower - smell of towels and a rogue slipper found under the bed. Lacks the attention it should have. However we had a good deal in the room so perhaps we shouldn’t moan! "Amalia & Yannis are wonderful hosts. The villa is beautiful, well thought out and absolutely everything you need is there. When we did need help like a taxi or advice on where to seek a Dr, they were super speedy and helpful with their response. The villa is a 5min walk into the centre of the small town and a 5-10min walk to the beach or a 10min taxi ride to Zakynthos town. We hope to be back soon!"

"This was unfortunate, we were unhappy. It may be nicer during the “season” but we were so disappointed we checked out shortly after arrival and booked a new hotel. Our “partial sea view” room had 1 window that looked out at a cement wall and there was no sea in sight… secondly, the entire “lobby” was under construction and the property seemed surprised at our arrival. "The Marelen was perfect for us, the breakfast had many options, the pool bar was top notch service, its location is perfectly between the beach and main road for shops etc. We were visiting for a few days for a wedding so staying in different hotels and multiple people mentioned how they really liked our hotel compared to others in the area - we are hoping to be back for a proper holiday next year!"

Galaxy Beach Resort, BW Premier Collection

"I liked how friendly and accommodating the staff was. I liked how clean the rooms were kept. I liked how close it was to the beach. There were always chairs and floaties available which made the experience really good. The staff does need to be educated on the availiof recycling containers on the property. We were told there weren't any and ended up going off-site to find recycling containers. We later found them by the pool. Otherwise, it was a very nice stay. "

White Olive Elite Laganas - All Inclusive

"This hotel is on the outskirts of Laganas, far enough from the strip, but close enough if this is your thing! Just without the noise. The hotel was spotless, the amount of cocktail choices were more than most we have experienced (and far better!), the food was on point, the staff are so friendly and could not have been more accommodating. Sunbeds were always available regardless of the time and despite the number of people, the pool never felt overcrowded. I would confidently recommend this hotel, you will not be disappointed."

"Great place for an all inclusive stay. Close enough to walk to the main laganas strip but still far enough away to avoid the noise. Staff were super friendly and helpful throughout. Buffet food was better than I expected. A great range of healthy salads, pasta, stews, breads, dessert. Every lunch time and dinner there was a chicken, pork, and seafood option. Breakfast was also good with a mix of fruits, yogurt, pastry, and cooked items. There are multiple pools and enough space to spread out. The beach is only 5 minutes walk away as well. "

"Karras Livin was perfect for what we needed. Room size was fine and location was great. Pool was occasionally a little dirty so we used the pool at the hotel sometimes. Staff friendly. Cleaner always came when we were sleeping so room was only cleaned once during two weeks. Would have liked some fresh towels/bin bags/toilet rolls left outside room as we had to fend for ourselves with these items Great stay overall and would return. "
