"I must be picky, because this is the first time I’ve ever walked into a vacation rental and thought “oh this place is GREAT!” My husband and I checked in on Christmas Day, and we had such a cozy long weekend at the stone cottage. "Our family needed a little getaway and this was perfect. It was a wonderfully private lake with nobody across the lake except the Bald Eagles! The wooded acreage was a great North Woods experience. The kids (ages 9 & 11) loved the Loft, so they could have their own space! The 2 docks were great fishing off of and there were fish caught regularly.
