Location is perfect, just a few steps from Etnea Road which is a very long street with lots of shops and restaurants. Room was clean enough and the bed was comfortable. "Perfect location adjacent to trsin and bus stations but, as do often in such cases, the immediate area is shabby and the haunt of prostitutes and other street life. No real danger but hardly ideal..The hotel itself is a grand old palazzo with many beautiful features, especially the interior gardens. It's only a 15 minute walk to the nicer parts of Catania. I'd stay here again."

"The property has to be considered within the price, which is the lowest I paid in Sicily. For that it is reasonable. The owner is very friendly and helpful. There was parking which I appreciated. But, the place was quite run down - mould and flaking paint etc. No breakfast, and the closest shop you have to walk on a terrifying road with no pavement where you think every car might run you down. But, the price is certainly fair. Best for solo travellers."

"This property is not as promoted in their photos online. There was a pool advertised and no pool to be found. The outside of the hotel resembles a penitentiary, the maximum security kind (again, not as presented in photos).
