"We had a great stay in Apollo Home. The location can't be beat--everything is close by, easily walkable. There are restaurants and coffee bars everywhere. He was there to check us in, went over all we needed to know, and even showed up the morning we were leaving to see that the cab he had ordered for us (not his usual company) showed up on time. "Very large property, well-located. Property conformed to description on Expedia. The owners were easy to reach and allowed us to check-in earlier. On one day, we lost electricity but the owner was on site in a short time and fixed the problem quickly. Highly recommend!"

"Really nicely furnished apartment equipped with everything you need. Very nice and big terrace as well! Rustic interior which gives it an authentic feel. Only negative thing was that the WiFi did not work during our stay. We tried asking the host but were just told to ‘go out and try in the garden’. "The house was perfect for our large family! Nice bedrooms, good with three toilets and great to have a Livingroom. We loved to sit outside in the shadows with a lot of beautiful flowers around. The waterfront area was so good and snorkeling just amazing. The pool was also great but was closed for our last days because of ash from Etna. We had a rental car and it was great to park just outside the house. We really want to come back!"

"Myself and my partner had a wonderful stay. The property had all the essentials we needed and was spotlessly clean. Private and secluded for a relaxing stay. Local amenities within walking distance. But a car needed to get further afield. We’d definitely recommend! The welcome cake was delicious."

"Property very tastefully furnished, friendly hosts (who speak very little English). OK for 2 people, would be a bit tight for 4. Major issues with swimming pool (out of action for 5 of our 14 days), with water pressure (20 mins for shower to warm up and then only a dribble), extremely loud and frequently barking dog. Although located in a side street it is adjacent to a major road - plenty of traffic noise during the day. Location convenient for Etna and the sites on the east side of the island."

"The location in Catania is ideal - at the beginning of Via Etnea, the main shopping street, within a short walking distance from the Metro. Rooms are large and comfortable, the rooftop restaurant has excellent service and great food. "

"Simply fantastic. We had a suite and it was majestic. The decor was so unique, it’s worth a mention. The breakfast was great. Their happy hour is an experience that should not be missed. We were warned about the neighborhood, so we were cautious. But again, there were so many options nearby. Absolutely fantastic experience. "

"Really enjoyed the stay. Had a lovely big room facing the sea. The bed was big and very comfy. The staff were very polite and friendly. The breakfast was delicious, particularly the pancakes and pistachio cannoli. The freshly squeezed orange juice was the best I’ve ever tasted. Everything about the stay was just right and fitted. Perfect. "
