So glad we picked this hotel. Beautiful property and very nice and helpful staff at desk. We could walk along the seaside, great restaurants, so nice and safe. The excursions we did picked us up at the hotel too. The rooftop bar was a great addition too.

Wasn’t a good choice. The biggest problem is noise. Mainly from the corridor, rooms above and next. Door opening and closing all day and night. Breakfast was basic but pretty good. Amenities in the room very basic.

The reception staff and cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful. But the restaurant staff were not very friendly or helpful, they never smiled! Everything seemed an effort to them. Otherwise we loved the hotel!

Hotel was very nice and clean! Staff were helpful and complimentary breakfast on the rooftop was beautiful. I would totally stay here again. Only suggestion I have to make the hotel better is to not make the room doors slam when people enter/exit their rooms. My wife and I were woken up 3-4 times because room doors were slamming after 11pm and midnight.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Food and drinks a little pricier but you do get the rooftop view. The walk to the main attractions was 30 mins.

We chose to stay here for our stay in Catania instead of centre of city. Room with a balcony facing the ocean was a highlight of our stay which wouldn't have been possible in the city. Location was 15 minute walk to metro and 2 stops to city centre for 1 euro versus 15 euro cab ride. Front staff were very friendly, room was decent size, modern with many light options. Black-out power blinds were great to have at sunrise. Shower was very spacious but rest of bathroom very tight. Nice to have mini fridge, bed linens and pillows were the most comfortable of all 4 hotels we stayed at on this vacation which is top priority on my list. Comparing to other hotels we stayed at, would have been nice to have a proper coffee machine (instead of kettle), magnifying mirror in bathroom, complimentary water bottles. Breakfast was decent for a European hotel but the view from the restaurant was a bonus. On the negative side, chamber maid left us with no extra roll of toilet paper (just made it to morning before having to get my own on her cart), and she left used coffee mugs on our counter. Lobby area could benefit from an update, eg. ripped couches.

Hick ups during my stay
I thought items for breakfast were not replenished until closing time, 10am.I stayed there 11 days and yet the same person would ask me my room number every morning. My door needed to be closed by banging it which isn't ideal when you arrive at 3.30 am.I asked reception, they were supposed to fix the issue but 3 days later was still not repaired.The bar fridge takes 3 days to have a bottle become cold. The air conditioning shuts off so when you leave for a lengthy period,you come back to a warm room. Air conditioning will take 1 hour to vreturn to reasonable temperature.
