"Nice little hostal in a family home in a very quiet street 5 minutes walk to Candelaria. Clean basic room. Hard bed but I soon adapted ! No a/c or TV and shared bathroom. Exactly what I expected for the price. Lovely helpful staff. Breakfast served in kitchen on ground floor. Free wifi in room."

"This hotel is in a historic building across from the old Presidential home that is now the Foreign Ministry. It's a pretty classic building, a bit rambling with different passageways off a central pretty courtyard. The rooms are small and designed for 2 people only. We arrived with a 3rd kid for an adjoining room (couldn't do it online) and they charged us an extra person fee, which was fine. "We booked this hostel as part of our honeymoon and were very disappointed. The rooms were small and noise could be heard all over hostel. The bathroom was tiny. There were disturbing signs relating to child protection and the area was very dangerous. We had two attempts of robbery outside hostel."
