"This is really a great great spot. The scenery is really mesmerizing. Especially, at dawn. We had a lovely stay. All fun and relaxing! No complaints. "We enjoyed our stay very much. The location is perfect. Very peaceful with beautiful views of the river and perfect for us as we were there to visit family in Thurso and Buckingham... The home itself was well equipped but could be cleaner. The windows are dirty and full of dead bugs but overall, good place to stay at"

"The cottage is cozy and well-equipped. The woodstove is a nice option (wood is not provided but can be purchased nearby). The hottub is very nice. Instructions for use are clear and easy to follow. We had to shovel our way in and out, but the owner contacted removal when we requested it. Would come back again! "

"We had a great time at this cottage with family and friends. It’s very spacious and nicely decorated. There were lots of fun ‘extras’ for kids like the trampoline, games and water toys. The kitchen was well equipped and we had all we needed. The screened in porch really made this place special and is such a nice feature I always look for. The lake is relatively small and shallow compared to others, which meant it felt warm for early July and we didn’t see any motor boats making it pleasant for...

"We booked for a family getaway weekend. Nice individual bedrooms. Make use of the washing/drying machines. The shower is way too nice for a cottage lol. The kitchen is equipped with everything that we need. Bonuses with games and binoculars in the leaving room. Nice quiet lake with some many available different types of water "vehicles" made it fun for us! Highly recommended and we're looking to go back next summer for sure. "

"Staying here felt like staying at a family friend's cottage - the kitchen is well stocked, bathroom has plenty of towels and anything we could need, lots of options for fun and games on water or land (or indoors if it's rainy!). I really appreciated the cleanliness and ability to make ourselves at home. Thank you for a great stay"

"The cottage location was great as only a short drive for us. Near enough to the village but far enough away for privacy. Two issues with the cottage that impact the rating are the bathroom door does not shut without being slammed - it needs to be sanded and rehung. This is a major thing as we had to use a piece of duct tape to hold the door shut for privacy. Second thing is the air conditioner blasts the cold air into the stairwell going to second floor so the rest of the house gets minimal...

"Multiple decks to enjoy sun or shay all times of the day. Beautiful clean lake with lots of fish and places to explore with provided kayaks and paddle board. Beautiful well stocked kitchen with modern appliances. Tonnes of seating inside and out. Outdoor shower with a spectacular view is a must for everyone!!! Comfortable beds in spacious rooms with spectacular views of the lake. Host responded very quickly to any questions we had. Highly recommend!!!!"
