This is one of the few hotels which has made us feel really at home: from Dominique's homemade pear cake and granola, through the rustic charm room to the late afternoon wine and cheese... "My family and I stayed in Long Beach as we had booked events in LA, along with Anaheim. This location was great as it was halfway between. Also, the area has lots of shopping, close to the pier and beach (walking distance).My boys are older so while the unit only has 2 queen beds, there are a couple of blow up mattresses that can fit in the second room.The hot tub and gym are amazing and not busy. "I really hit the jackpot when I selected this property. I was greeted and warmly welcomed at the door by host Rena who showed me around. Her motherly spirit was evident in the care she put into the unit. From extra towels, to water and orange juice in the fridge and cookies, apples, and flowers on the dining table. The bed was wonderfully comfy with extra blankets available in the closet. As a single female I also appreciated the very bright automatic light that comes on as you approach the door...

"The proprietor could not have been more welcoming & attentive. The King Suite was clean & comfortable & well-appointed. We could walk to Ventura Blvd & easily drive to places beyond. We would happily return & highly recommend."

"Overall a decent place to stay, the day of the stay they most of been short staff. We had to wait for our room to be ready, there were two parking areas that we had to pay every time we left(not part of the hotel) The rooms were specious and clean."
