"You will not find a more picturesque location in Gion. In fact, I suspect that directly out the front door might be one of the most photographed streets in all of Kyoto. As we would go out for the day there were always people having professional photos as well as doing amateur photography directly out our door. "This charming inn is an excellent accommodation for families. With two bedrooms, our family of five enjoyed a comfortable and spacious stay. The only minor inconvenience was the lack of a second-floor bathroom, which meant we needed to descend to the ground floor each time we required restroom facilities. Despite this small drawback, the inn was otherwise exceptional and met all our needs perfectly."

"It was a perfect place for us. We walked all around kiyomizu to kawaramachi area. They had everything we needed in the house. The only wish was to have thicker softer mattress on tatami futons next time. :) Thank you."

However this house is best suited for 4 people or less, not for 6 people nor people that has problem going up steep stairs as the two bedrooms are upstairs. "The property looks exactly like the photos on the website, which is a nice little surprise. Very nice little traditional Japanese house. Location is great and you can walk the Gion neighbourhood whenever you like. You can walk to Yasaka Jinja and Shijo easily as well. The bus stop is only 100m away and Ninenzaka & Sannenzaka are only a few stops away. There is also a direct bus to Kinkakuji if you want to visit it. A couple of issues with the property. "The house was everything i wanted but not so accesible to the train station, closer to the bus station but kinda hard to figure bus rides for me. I would stay here again esp if i was with a group, it makes tou really fell like youre in Kyoto, my favorite part is the ofuro, the bath on its own is so great and the jap garden."

"Beautiful house in excellent condition in a nice quiet area. Everything you need is provided in the house. The phone in the house did not seem to work to call the reception though. The nearest Tofukuji Station is only a few minutes’ walk away with two convenience stores on the way. Love to return in the future; cannot recommend more!! "

"古民家の雰囲気がしっかりありながらも、とても清潔で食器や小物類も揃っていたので困ることはなかったです。お布団も心地よくぐっすり寝れました。歩いて数分のところにおしゃれなバーやコンビニ、パン屋さんやピザ屋さんがあって、駅までも歩ける距離だったので家族連れでしたが、何も問題なく過ごせました。これだけ条件がよくコスパは素晴らしかったです。また京都に来ることがあったらまた利用させてもらいます。"

"It is close to a JR station and a metro station, convenient to get around Osaka and to places outside Osaka. The area is also quiet, the room is clean and appliances provided were thoughtful and useful. There are also food places nearby. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again."

"There are so many small things that make this hotel great! It's convenient to do your own laundry here with a change machine located near the laundromat. The massage chairs feel fantastic after a long day on your feet. The food at both of the restaurants is delicious. There are many elevators so you never have to wait long. The rooms are wonderful! Small, but very well designed and super comfortable! I had a great view of USJ from my window and was never too bothered with outside noise. This is the best hotel I've stayed at and for a very good price!"

"As my first time in Japan with my partner this hotel was our favorite in Osaka! It has a luxurious feeling within the hotel & room, everyone there were so very kind and welcoming! You are also very close to the main parts in Osaka 30min walking & i believe 10-15min in train "

"Less than 10 mins walk to Kyoto Station. Very convenient location for tourists. Very nice guest room and public bath. Only thing I can complaint is the AC of the guest room floor aisle was bit too hot during winter. "
