"This was our 5th year staying at OBX for Thanksgiving week and we just signed up for our 6th. Love the place! Each year brings surprises of upgrades that keep the property current and nice. The walk to the beach takes 2 minutes and the town of Duck is just down the street. Couldn't be better."

"Hovey House was GREAT. My family had not had a vacation in years and this week was perfect. We caught fish, kids done the educational tour of the Wright's Brothers Memorial and enjoyed the local go-carts. Host was very involved and professional. Will stay there again."

"Check in was easy. The property was on a busy highway with alot of noise. House was fairly clean but couches needed to be steamed cleaned and left over socks found under bed. Grill was not covered and pretty dirty. Pool was covered for off season but halfway thru our stay pool company removed cover and left a half full dirty pool that the children could have fallen in . Water to outside showers had to be turned on by rental company couple days in. We feel the property was not fully prepared by...
