Great location close by some great restaurants and stores in Kitty Hawk NC JUST WATCH OUT FOR SAND SPURS our small short dog kept getting them on his belly, toes and beard 😎 Fun place to stay!!

Cute cottage/VRBO not exactly accurate
This is a cute cottage for a couple and you can’t beat the location however the VRBO listing is a bit inaccurate. This is rented out through a rental property group so there were multiple additional fees for a pet, insurance and other items listed that are shown through the VRBO booking.

My husband enjoyed the large TV as an escape after the hustle and bustle of the wedding and the long drive from Texas. Ms. Tia was fantastic as she helped us navigate around the area and made check in super easy. We definitely recommend this company and this particular rental and will be staying again.

Reviewer Comments: The property was not properly cleaned, particularly the bathroom, and I had to request that cleaners come back the day I arrived. The company misrepresented the pet fee in the original posting. Compared to other companies, the property company also provided very limited information about check in and I had to reach out to them for instructions. The accommodations are tired. The dishwasher barely worked and the sofa was worn out.

Classic cute beach box
One block from the beach with everything you needed in this cute clean traditional beach box. Added bonus you can bring your furry friend. Just one thing to note, this property is managed by a management company and there are some inconsistencies between how it’s advertised on VRBO and their contract, which they sent us after we had booked through Vrbo. For example, VRBO says they provide linens and they do but only if you stay for a week otherwise it’s $100 charge. And there was some inconsistency in the cancellation policy but after several conversations, the management company agreed to honor the VRBO advertising for that portion. On the upside check was easy, they were only a block and a half from the house and when we got to the house the microwave didn’t work and they quickly responded with a loaner.
