"I love all the little extras that made the place special. We were lucky with the weather and were able to kayak around the harbor. The parking was tricky, but we had plenty of warning and instruction ahead of time. Beware of the steep driveway to reach the entrance. Definitely not accessible by all."

"The guest house was perfect for my partner and I's stay. The room was cozy and comfortable. It's a bit on the smaller side but that perfect for a couple. Using the the outdoor shower in the day was so serene see the tops of trees and the sunlight hitting the water, at the same time it felt completely private."

Laurie and Jay were ideal hosts who were always ready to offer help and suggestions. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We appreciate their thoughtfulness and generous hospitality. This property is conveniently located 7 miles from Belfair where you can purchase everything you need. The ferry to Seattle is 20 minutes away. It was a great vacation!"

"Vashon Island is one of those unique places where you can see the city across the water but experience the slowed pace of country living without giving up on some of the pleasures of the good life. Coach House was beautifully appointed, comfortable, surrounded by fields and woods, and only minutes from basic shopping and great restaurants (check out Earthen Bistro!). Hosts were very attentive, if needed. Forgot about things back home and any worries for just a few days of island life."
