"Lovely hosts, that greeted us very well on check-in and had lots of recommendations on where to go and what to see. The room was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast in the morning set us up for the day. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Pitlochry! "

"My parents had a lovely stay at the hotel. I had booked for my Mum's 70th birthday. They found the hotel staff very welcoming and very accommodating. The room was very comfortable and the cleanliness was of a very high standard throughout the hotel. They had a lovely evening meal as well as a nice breakfast. Thank you for making their stay enjoyable and they would definitely like to come again."

They explained me many things, brought towels directly ro my room and even talked and played dart with me, while I waited for my dinner, which was a great local beef burger. "When we arrived there was no heating on and no hot water. The outside temperature was 6C and the cottage was colder than that. Eventually someone arrived to put on the heating and light the wood burning stove. Even with that there was no way the cottage would be warm for at least 12 hours. We decided to leave and returned the key. Apart from the cold, there was nothing welcoming about the cottage. There was no welcoming pack or instructions. "Had a lovely 3 night stay at Heathpark. Meg and Chris were so warm, welcoming and attentive. Stayed in a single room which was a good size, cosy, and a very comfortable bed and fab shower. Great choices at breakfast with a daily special making it difficult to choose. Everything freshly cooked and well presented. Can't recommend this guest house highly enough. Meg and Chris do everything to make sure you (and your dog) have a pleasant stay. I look forward to returning in the future."

"The unit was quite nice. Close to Killarney and the Ring of Kerry. We had difficulty with the WiFi and tried to get the manager to understand we tried all versions of password-none worked. Still, the unit was nice and we enjoyed that it sat along a beautiful stream. Please fix the WiFi."

Good quality city hotel

"Very big room for this class of hotel, but a disappointingly small desk. My room had two large beds, and a view over a car park. No hotel I have ever stayed at has more plug sockets. Good breakfast selection, with black pudding on the first night, haggis on the second. Would have preferred both! The waffle maker is a nice touch, the only hotel outside the USA I have been in with one. Could do with a greater selection of cold meats and cheese"

"My husband and I booked 2 nights at Fonab Castle and we had a wonderful time. We were greeted at the door by very friendly door staff who helped us with our luggage and gave us a tour of the castle. All the staff were extremely friendly and very accommodating . The castle is beautiful and the room was spotless and very grand. We had our dinner and breakfast at the castle which was excellent. We also had spa treatments on our last day, treatments were so relaxing. Would highly recommend Fonab Castle as a stay, we will definitely be planning another trip. "
