"The long drive and grounds are beautiful. The lift was broken and no attempt to ask anyone to help me with cases and bags . The shower was great but the angle of spray kept flooding the floor so we used 3 towels permanently to soak up the water so we could use the bathroom and the fan was very noisy "

There were quite a lot of stains on my carpet which was off putting and no water in the room, which feels like standard practice. The room was fit for purchase for a night stay but I wouldn’t have stayed there for longer as it was a small room."

"Lovely welcoming feel. Having stayed there a few times now, certainly some bedrooms are decidedly better than others in same category. Breakfast could be a bit more varied, but does the job. Evening meals are good. Fresh milk in the bedroom fridge which is a welcome change to those awful longlife little plastic pots you usually get. Comfortable bar and seating areas."
