Fantastic pubs and a lovely tearoom just footsteps away. The Space:

On the ground floor, you'll find an open-plan dining area and kitchen, perfectly equipped for preparing meals. Adjacent is a modern shower room and WC. Head upstairs to a lovely galleried landing, leading to a cozy double bedroom with a TV, a charming seating area, and a stunning stained glass window that adds a touch of timeless elegance.

Guest Access:

The Dovecote is based in a shared courtyard alongside our Manor House and Coach House properties. The property includes one parking space right outside as well as a private garden area perfect for watching the canal boats drift past.

Additional information:

If you are bringing dogs, please add them to your booking (there is a £50 fee to cover the additional cleaning required), and ensure they stay downstairs in the farmhouse, and not on the furniture.

On booking this property, you can also enjoy access to both the tennis court and outdoor heated swimming pool facilities at Worton Park in Cassington, approx. a 10 minute drive away. Please note these are available on a seasonal basis (usually May-September); pool opening times also apply.

Enjoyable weekend break
Beautifully situated along the canal. Short drive to Blenheim palace, Oxford or Bicester village for shopping. The cottage is clean and cosy. We had dinner at the jolly boatman on Saturday evening. We were very lucky with the weather.

We stayed for 9 days between house move. Absolutely gorgeous cottage in fabulous location. Incredibly peaceful yet a stone’s throw from pubs restaurants, shops and civilisation. Absolutely loved it!

Relaxing Hideaway
“The Dovecote” by name sets your expectations for a small, intimate getaway. The property is small, but perfect for two people and the patio area is a lovely place to enjoy morning coffee or end-of-day drinks and watch the narrowboats glide along the canal. It is just as advertised and we’ll be back again. I’d suggest changing the two quite rigid kitchen chairs for something a bit more flexible-wicker? But just a perfect place for quiet and tranquility.
