"Unfortunately this hotel has seen better days? I had a pool villa that was good, but seen better days? The restaurant (only 1 operating now) was basic. The hotel is a long way from Ubud on a very small and narrow road and did not have a shuttle service to Ubud - thus there are additional charges? However the highlight was the wonderful Art and antique collection the owner Peter has. "

"We really enjoyed our stay from the morning yoga and the freshly made breakfast, to the wild monkeys that visited in the trees outside our room. The staff was very accommodating and took great care of us. The location was a bit away from town but just enough. We were able to enjoy the quiet and peace and grab a quick ride into downtown Ubud for shopping and dining."

"What a wonderful hidden gem of a place. Beautiful pool, immaculate rooms and friendly staff. Travelled around Barlow but my heart was always pinning for another night here! First a little worried with on going building work at the front of the property but this did not inconvenience us at all. An oasis. Had super massages too"

"We stayed a week for our 25th anniversary. Perfect for that occasion. It would be inappropriate with children, infirm or elderly - stone stairs to anywhere, lots of quiet, mostly honeymooners. The staff made an effort to learn our names/circumstances and seemed sincerely invested in our good stay. Shout out to Mira. All day long, the cooked-to-order western and eastern food was amazing (the best/cheapest filet mignon you will find), and we especially enjoyed the included luxurious afternoon tea...
