"Was a lovely hotel with lovely staff in a nice location, I do like the kings inn hotels but admittedly the bathroom wasn’t very clean nor modern and it did smell a little, but it was still good for the price we paid to stay there. The bed was comfortable and we had a sleep without any disturbances. Also breakfast was nice, and the bar maids were very nice and it was very calm and chilled to sit and have a drink in the evening. "

"This hotel is very conveniently located right next to York Barbican. I had an event there so this hotel was a great choice. The staff were prompt and friendly, and explained everything well. "A nice break away for a few days in York. The hotel is very central right next to Bootham Bar. Room large, cleans and staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and large portions. The only problem was no parking on site and having to park at a nearby carpark cost £34 per day !!"

The staff more were truly amazing and they themselves deserve five stars. They were accommodating, considerate, professional, efficient, kind, and truly represented the very best of York.
