"My wife and I spent 5 nights here in Hibbing in February 2025. Temperatures got down to -19F outside…the back of the house (two bedroom) stayed cozy; front rooms (kitchen and adjacent dining area plus living room) were much cooler but doable with heavy fleece/sweater. Overall we loved the space this first floor apartment afforded us. Kitchen has enough to cook with (could use a stronger microwave) and dining room expansive! In the bathroom hot water hot and sufficient at least for two consecutive showers of good duration. We’d stay here again. Parking lot plowed and good size; can park in front of two floor house as well. What we wish were better: Internet can be slow with some drops especially late afternoon and early evening; TV is a Roku type meaning if you are not part of that plan there are limited stations/content. Finally we brought our own coffee/filters but there was no easy way to boil water except by using an uncovered pot over gas flames(stovetop). None of these are dealbreakers…especially since the apartment is newly restored and many elements of its past as an Art Deco home have been kept: kitchen cabinet hardware, ceiling lighting design…and the translucent glass windows of the dining area.We wish the owner only the best luck with the new (ad)venture. Thank You and if we pass this way again to look for Great Grey Owls and Boreal Owls at Sax Zim bog, we will surely stay here again"

"The room was very nice & clean. Cozy & comfortable. The only thing I wasnt a huge fan of (not a big deal though) was flushing the toilet. It was super loud and noise came from the tub drain while flushing. Other than that, the property itself was very great. Good breakfast and nice staff. Super comfy pillows and bed. Calling into the hotel, you get connected to an automated system. I wasnt able to get through to the staff on site. That was annoying. I wanted to confirm my booking on their end because I booked theough expedia, and they said I needed to check my email for the confirmation...which I did prior to calling... but it was from Expedia, not the hotel itself. So it was a guessing game until I actually arrived. "

"This "cabin" is spectacular! It is clean, organized, spacious and fun! The kitchen is gorgeous with top of the line appliances. The livingroom has a huge TV with unlimited options of movies, shows, music and more! The game room is amazing! The pool table and darts entertained us for hours. The bedrooms are beautiful and have very comfortable beds. The bathrooms are stocked with towels and even a few ramndom things incase you forgot something. Check-in and check-out went smooth. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to get away and spend some time in the great outdoors!"
