"I loved the first impression from the entrance through parking with well maintained landscape, exterior and interior. It has the most convenient walking access to famous scenery spot. Friendly staff, the room is clean, great breakfast with fresh juice machine, I should have stayed longer!"

"One of the most memorable views from a hotel room I’ve ever had the privilege to experience. The view from the terrace is unmatched both day and night, assuming you have a clear sky for star gazing. The room itself was comfortable but quite tired. Lots of scuffs, wear and tear. Clearly it has been much loved for many years but is in need of a minor face lift. That said, it was perfectly clean and didn’t detract front the stay. It would take a lot more to make me regret booking a room with that...

"The external appearance is very dated. However inside it is charming. Lots of original features particularly in the library and games rooms upstairs. The inside courtyard area has a charm of its own. Our room was an internal room with no external air (windows opened into internal courtyard) and so we asked for a room with external windows which we could move to. Essential given the area was experiencing a heat wave! Breakfast excellent and plentiful. "

"On the check-in day, I received a messsge advising which room was allocated to me and how to access it without contact. This worked perfectly. The room was neat and clean. The bathroom was clean and the hot water supply was great. Plenty of tea bags, milk and sugar and a kettle and microwave and bar fridge rounded out the kitchenette.
