"The Carrington is walking distance from the train and close to everything in Kootomba. The hotel is historic, which means old and needs a bit of a facelift. Some of the staff was outstanding like Shelia, others were just ok. We enjoyed the adjoining restaurant with great food and live music. We even had walked around Scienic World. Overall a good stay 3 Star property that’s very well located. "

"Plum Blossom Cottage is a spacious and charming home with a mix of old and new. It has been renovated but maintains its heritage feel. The home is very clean with a well appointed kitchen, large bedrooms, modern bathrooms and a shady garden to relax in at the end of the day. The location is ideal being within walking distance of the Katoomba CBD and Echo Point / the Three Sisters. Nearby bus stop as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."
