Thank you! 하코네 지역의 호텔과 비교하면 힐튼 오다와라의 접근성은 다소 불편합니다. 하지만 호텔 방에 들어서는 순간 이곳에 오길 잘 했다는 생각이 드실겁니다. 일본의 여러 온천호텔에 가보았지만 이곳이 제가 갔던 호텔 중 베스트 3 안에 듭니다. 가족여행으로 갔는데 부모님이 감동하셨습니다. 식사의 경우, 저희는 조식과 석식을 모두 호텔에서 먹었습니다. 뷔페 음식의 종류가 많지는 않지만 모두 맛있고 호텔 부대시설이 매우 좋습니다. 차량 렌트해서 가실 분들에게 강추합니다! "Loved the hotel! Be aware public Japanese baths mean sharing the hot springs experience with no clothing. It is separated by gender. We picked the private baths. When we wanted 3 different baths per member of the family, they suggested we only book 1 private bath and we could wear our bathing suits. It was great. There is a room with different types of massage chairs- one for whole body, another for feet, and another for feet and legs. We picked the half board meals. The first night was element with a guy who spoke English and explained each elegant course to us. It made the meal extra-special. The second night, we had a different waiter who didn’t speak English at all and only provided us a few minutes to finish each course apologizing before shoving each course on our crowded table. It didn’t feel special at all. I’m not sure what the hotel requires of their staff, so perhaps the first night we were just lucky. After eating dinner, our futon beds were taken out of the closet and were made with linens and pillows (we wondered what we would sleep on when we walked in). The town was a 10 minute walk and was so cute with tons of specialty shops and local restaurants. We took a short train trip to Lake Ashi and took a boat tour where you could hop off/on the boat at little towns. We stopped at a small town with a museum. Inside was a panoramic view of Mt Fuji which you could also see on the boat. I highly recommend this hotel and Hakone. "

"Slightly older rooms but great space, lovely views and benefit of private hot springs. Meals were incredible and service was great. Used hotel shuttle too and from train, which was very convenient. "

"A traditional hotel with an abundance of old-world charm. We were so impressed by how well-maintained and clean this hotel was, as well as the warm friendly greetings we regularly received from staff who were positioned throughout the front lobby. Service and hospitality were top class. Buffet breakfast and dinner were great – a wide variety of choices were available. Family members with dietary requirements were generally able to find something that suited them and food was well-labelled. Visited Hakone for the woodwork (Yosegi Zaiku) rather than the hot springs so unfortunately cannot comment on the onsens. The walk from Hakone-Yumoto Station to the hotel can easily be done in around 20-30 minutes depending on how quickly you go. It is a very pleasant walk especially along the Sukumo River. However, if you are carrying a lot of luggage, a taxi would be the better option. Overall, this was a beautiful, well-run establishment and we really enjoyed our stay here."

"Perfect 10!!! Everything about this place and its location and surrounding area is a perfect 10! In house Onsen is amazing and the staff are very very very helpful and accomodating. Our japanese style room was very pretty and comfortable."

"We had the most incredible stay here while visiting Hakone. The location is ideal: a 2 min walk from the main train station and right on the river. Waking up to the sound/view of the river is just magical. The team working here is incredibly nice, hospitable and accommodating. We did the half board and the food was delicious and varied. We asked for our meals to be vegetarian and we were served the most beautiful kaiseki style spread in our room. A special thank you to Yuki who took care of us during our stay and made us feel welcome and comfortable. She went above & beyond to make sure everything related to our room and meals was nothing short of incredible. Would definitely come back here again without thinking twice."
