"I loved the decor of my bedroom - little Japanese touches which made it feel special. The location was also excellent and easy to find, being close to the Gion corner and 10 minutes walk or so to the train station, shrines and shops. The staff were also very helpful and the free breakfast (of rolls and pastries) was perfect."

"a great onsen place with lots to offer. Many different types of onsen as well. Love the experience. Will come back for sure. The only thing you have to watch out for is. Take the shuttle bus and try not to walk up the really steep hill to the hotel. It is definitely some cardio exercise. But, if you take the shuttle bus, which is very convenient, you will save yourself some harsh exercise. "

"It was a beautiful family-run ryokan offering waters from Arima Onsen right to our room, with a beautiful view over the little town. It was relaxing for my family to enjoy and be together, and I imagine it would make a beautiful romantic getaway. The special kaiseki dinner was one of the best I had during my stay in Japan. If you’re into the onsen experience with an understated but delightfully charming and luxurious stay, book this place! "

"This Ryokan does not do food of any kind. Inaccurate description on expedia. It is close to everything in the area.. Yukatas provided are quite small. Onsen is small but adequate. Bit wear and tear but expected for old building. Staff where polite and helpful. "

He was very patient and especially helpful to our multiple queries and tried his best to help. We were very grateful for his sincerity in wanting to help. "Nice and quaint ryokan with free shuttle service. The tourist information centre can help to contact them for you when you arrive. We booked the only room with an outdoor onsen and bathroom as we were travelling with a toddler. All other rooms don’t have any private toilets. Dinner was amazing and served at sister ryokan 5 minutes walk away. Breakfast was served downstairs. The staff were always smiling and ready to help. Very friendly and welcoming ambiance. "事前に調べて行ってたので、施設のコンセプトを理解して有馬の街を堪能させていただきました。温泉街にて自宅のように、まさにそういう風に過ごすことができました。部屋にいくエレベーターを降りてすぐのところにビールと酎ハイの自販機がありました。ビジネスホテルレベルの値段で置いてくれてますので飲み足りないときはそこで更なる水分補給。部屋にはミニ冷蔵庫（冷凍機能なし）、ポット、洗面台ながしがありました。古いですが綺麗に清掃してくれてます。チェックアウト12時もありがたかったです。"

"The walls were a bit thin (we had someone yelling at the kid most of the night next to us), but the room itself was amazing. After a couple nights on harder beds, this bed was like a cloud. The room was very spacious with plenty of room to be able to open our luggage and spread out. The only downfall was our view of the wall right next door, but when you are in a city, someone has to have the wall view. "

"I had a great stay! The location is perfect—just a short, easy walk from Kobe Sannomiya Station, with another train station right across the street for easy access to Osaka. The hotel was very clean, and the service was excellent. Everything was convenient and comfortable. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Kobe or planning day trips to nearby cities!"
