"Older hotel but in very good shape. The staff were very accommodating to all of our needs. The rooms were clean and well maintained. Will never hesitate to stay there again. There were other rooms available that were only available on certain websites or by calling only, but I didn't now the rooms were available until I showed up which would have been way more comfortable and accommodating for our stay. but we live and learn. That part was confusing, but now we know there are multi-bedroom rooms with kitchenettes available. Overall a great hotel for the area and worth the stay. "

"Nice, clean and comfy. Beds were terrific! Very comparable to chains like Hampton. Excellent for families visiting nearby Culver-Stockton College, and smart alternative to driving back and forth to Quincy for a more expensive room. If climbing stairs is an issue, you might call first, as they've had elevator problems (judging from past reviews and our experience)."

"Not only is there plenty of room and wonderful views from every window, the only place in town to buy food on any given day is just downstairs. We loved the property and the location. A great place to stay and for the right price."
