"The self check in was fantastic and the location, perfect. Downsides: The light/fan is a motion detector and the noise and light in the middle of the night was super intrusive to our sleep. Please offer another option for the bathroom. And, our coffee mugs were cracked...not hygienic. Otherwise, very basic but clean and accessible place to stay."

"I'm afraid Boulder Lodge is taking advantage of its impressive lake views to charge a bit more than is justified. It's the little things: tv not working (intermittent), 3 out of 5 door locks broken, hothouse temperature on 3rd floor. Parking was a minor hassle. WiFi was all but unusable (easily overcome with minor equipment additions). These are things that should be taken care of before they demand a $200+ room charge. "We loved the three separate rooms, each with it's own bathroom. The large kitchen and dining room were perfect for our needs. We also liked the "mudroom" to take off our boots after a long day of hiking and store them there with our hiking poles to keep the rest of the house clean. Having the nice laundry area was super important as we stayed almost a week and went through a lot of clothes hiking all day every day. Great place!"
