The open layout of the living area & kitchen was perfect for family meals, lounging and conversation. Communication with the host was excellent. All in all, a great rental for our needs and we'd happily visit again. "

"We came to celebrate my daughter’s birthday with some nature time. We had a lovely stay. The owner was very upfront about damage from a hurricane so I knew I should expect it. There were downed trees and remnants of what looked to be a forest fire. The view on the dock was priceless! The two kids rooms were a bit warm."

"The house is nicely sized and very well taken care of. We spent hours(!) sitting in the backyard, watching the ducks and cranes go about their business, often within feet of us. The location couldn't be more convenient if you have things to do in/around Lake City."
