"we really like this property. the property owner even let us check in early, which we really appreciate. they salted and shoveled the porch when we got snow and ice. property is clean, nicely furnished and we love the lake and the trains! will definitely be returning. "

"This was our second time staying at Creekside Cottage. It's cozy and well-stocked, with plenty of space for our 3 families coming together to celebrate New Years Eve. We like the quiet location. It doesn't feel like a generic rental, it feels like a home. We played lots of board games and roasted smores in the firepit. I would recommend to families who want to get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy the creek and the horseback riders passing through. "

"Difficult getting in touch with and not timely responses with host. The house was clean….but the bedspreads and throw pillows need washing. They smell and are very dirty. There were no wash clothes to shower with. The house was not dirty itself. Bathrooms, bedrooms, and kitchen were clean. The location was great for our needs and very close to Ripken. Everyone was blown away at the beauty of the area, and all the amazing ammenities the house provided...including an amazing commercial grade kitchen for cooking meals each night, pleanty of rooms and privacy for our group of 6, and an awesome host who made sure we had everythig we needed...including a walk through at check in and updates about local...

"This was by far the best Property we have ever stayed at. We were in town for a cheer competition with 6 moms and 7 daughters. The upstairs room had beds for every girl plus some! The house was extremely clean and the host literally though about EVERYTHING. From local menus, to games for all ages and even to-go containers in the kitchen! (which we always forget!) It was so comfortable and enjoyable, no one wanted to leave!"

"The property is as seen on the website. The place was neat and tidy. Everything we needed was available. We were basically there to crash at night and shower in the morning. Pete and Maura have done a nice job with making the place comfortable. There was easy communication. The washer was broken, but they offered an alternative if we needed it. The only things to be aware of is that the house sits on a very busy street, however, we always had plenty of room in the driveway to turn around so we...

"Rented house with our 2 grandkids 6 and 15 for Thanksgiving. They especially loved the yard and it’s an easy drive into Lancaster. Lots of space and great price per night. "

"Impeccable, beautiful, well-stocked, clean. I can’t say enough. The loft was so cozy and perfect for the three of us. Easy check-in, and when I saw well-stocked I mean it. Coffee and creamer and towels, blankets, everything. Beds are super comfortable as well. The view was amazing. Grocery, liquor, and a few restaurants close by as well. Can’t wait to stay again!"

"The home is perfect for family gatherings! Lots of rooms for sleeping, and common spaces for visiting! Clean home in a lovely neighborhood. We walked to Towson Town center rather than driving. Host is very responsive to questions."

"We stayed here over the weekend and had a great time. The home is located about twenty mins from lots of great restaurants and things to do for kids! The arcade machine was a huge hit with my kids. The view of the river was amazing. We sat in the house and watched the sunset and sunrise every day. The host was also very responsive. "

"This was the perfect escape from the city. I was in town for medical appointments and after a long day away, it was nice to come back to a cozy place. The yard was full of beautiful flowers and fun little surprises (we saw frogs, turtles, birds and a groundhog!). The house came fully equipped for anything you might need. "Porch is filled with cobwebs. Steps inside need a lot of improvement. Inside was very clean, if dated. However I was pleased with the updated shower, refrigerator, kitchen. No tv made the down time lonely. Netflix did not work, nor did dvd player. For me I needed a much more closer bathroom on the second floor.
