"I hesitated to write a review b/c there are a number of criticisms but then I noticed that this host doesn’t have any reviews yet so maybe these can be constructive. Our host was very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed: very good, cold fridge;very good shower with hand held option; shelves plus hooks in the washroom, so there was someplace to put our toiletries, drinking water & two glasses on one side of the bed.No coffee maker or kettle; no means by which to wash the dishes that were provided...

"Susan hosted a great stay for my wife and I over four days. The house and room were tidy, and the breakfast offerings were the best bar none. The front porch overlooked a well-manicured lawn on a very quiet street. Susan gave us some history of the area and pointed out stores and restaurants in the area. We were never disappointed. This was a first visit for us to this area and we hope that we can visit Susan again next year. "

"Incorrectly booked another hotel for the wrong night. Cora took us in last minute and was gracious to all of us, even making up a second bed last minute and bringing milk for evening tea. The kids enjoyed the large projection screen and the swingset outside. We couldn't get enough of the view and the beautiful decor. Very well kept and loved by the owner. Linens, extra condiments and bath products at the ready! Very much appreciated, Cora. Thank you so much."

"Beautiful property, but the pictures posted.must have been older photos of the home LOTS of maintenance and upkeep needed, not to mention countertops and all furniture surfaces, stove top, plates, glasses, cutlery, pots and pans were dirty and needed to be washed upon arrival. Linens provided were not freshly laundered. Stayed at many rentals through Vrbo and never encountered this. Owner offered nothing but apologies. SO embarrassing as this was the place chosen to host with our closest friends...

"Beautifully finished, inside out. We were fortunate enough to spend two nights at this home and could hardly stay indoors. The location, the views, the amenities, the water, the fishing were all top notch, but the beautifully decorated and meticulously finished interiors and majestic windows overlooking the water made it difficult to leave- highly recommended"

"Wonderful area and very practical. I was charged extra for my dog that i was not aware of. Bring your own towels and coffee filters. Even though i stayed 3 nights there were only 3 coffee filters. I drink more than one coffee a day. "
