"The bed was very hard- my wife had backache all next day! Otherwise, a good experience, somewhat quirky, an old spa establishment that feels institutional but has character."

"This hotel is in a fabulous location and offers parking, which is a bonus. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our room was disappointing, ripped curtain, odd bathroom door, dated decor and shower needed a regrouting. The bed however, was very comfortable. For a short stay, it was fine."

"We had planned a stop enroute to the south of France. It was chosen as a country location that would be quiet. It satisfied that requirement. It was a little difficult to find as TomTom for some reason had it in the middle of Lapalisse. Once that was sorted it was easy."
