"This is a beautiful room in a historical home near Old Lyon. Sylvie make a wonderful local breakfast each morning and is happy to recommend fun things to do each day if you’re curious. Sylvie also booked a car to the airport on the final day so there was no stress. Great experience!"

"Thankfully, we only needed a place to stay to break up a long journey. The whole building was unkempt and in need of updating. The bed was clean but uncomfortable, resulting in back pain. We were glad we had our own pillows. Plenty of hot water , clean white towels, but poor facilities. Thank you for the fridge and microwave....very useful"

"Nice,clean place. Needed security lights. Dark uphill climb at night. Can’t see to get key in. Real lack of restaurants here. Train to Lyon close by but confusing if you don’t speak French. Friendly staff but not around much. "

"Stayed just for 1 night which was too little time! My wife said it’s very charming and “homey” (I agree), and the host was very nice and friendly. Breakfast included home made bread, crepes fresh jam and cheese. Just remember that it’s a very old building with no elevator filled with quirks and the washroom is a little small but it adds to the place’s wonder. Definitely would stay again!"

"Hotel de charme situé au calme dans un parc arboré. Cet hotel joliment décoré. Les propriétaires sont très gentils et attentionnés. L'accès a la piscine et au jaccuzzi se fait a toute heure du jour ou de la nuit car c'est dans un bâtiment a l'écart des chambres. Les chambres sont situées dans une maison bourgeoise qui a beacoup de charme. Rien a redire."

"A most charming place to stay nestled in the hills of the Massif Central, this was formerly the village school house and retains many original features. Dinner was provided by the hosts and was particularly well received. Breakfast was basic but no less delicious for that."

"We had a fantastic stay in Chamonix, with easy access to the slopes, making our ski days seamless. The breakfast buffet was excellent, offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious options to start the day. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. Our room was cleaned daily, maintaining a high standard of comfort and tidiness. The après-ski atmosphere at the terrace was also fantastic, with a lively and inviting vibe. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Chamonix!"
