"Nice little hotel but they didn’t provide basic stuff. No hair conditioner, no body lotion. Second day they gave us shampoo… other than that it was okay. The room was really tiny. Hard to have space for our luggage. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Le Catarina. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful. Food is available in the evening by arrangement and was absolutely delicious. Use of the shared kichen with a designated space in the fridge was a real bonus as we were walking so needed to take a packed lunch out with us. We would wholeheartedly recommend Le Catarina."

" Nice breakfast provided (self serve in kitchen). Nespresso machine with plenty of coffee together with tea options. Homemade jam, croissants, yoghurt, butter and French stick. Free parking on street outside. Nice garden with seating. "

"Nice traditional Chateau undergoing renovation, but the grounds are not quite finished yet. Nice new restaurant opened now. Basic rooms are just that - a bit basic! No wardrobe or drawers in our room this time, although in the past we have been given a very nice large room. Nice views across the Rhone valley, but the grounds are still a bit of a building site!"

"Stay here you won’t regret it.Fabulous hidden gem. What can I say? Just blown away by this hotel. Set in a breathtaking area which is just like being back in Florence. The hosts were just delightful and we loved listening a reading the picture book to how this family owned home was renovated to the hotel. Breakfast was delicious and filled with local made goods. We stayed in the plum room which was just beautiful and the bed was so comfortable. Our only regret was not staying longer. We hope to...

"My stay at La Saudade was a very pleasant experience. The hosts are kind and interesting people, you are steps from the very charming town of St. Peray (which has infinitely more going for it than the other ‘wine towns’ in the area). Enjoyed a lovely dinner at La Ruche, and was told that the nearby Auberge is also a fun family destination. La Saudade is the embodiment of a lovely chambre d’hotes - clean, unpretentious, interesting old home, and is also personal and memorable! Recommend!"
