"This was a lovely guesthouse, nicely decorated and appointed. Our host was really attentive, hosting wine tastings on two of our three evening stay. It’s central but up a very steep hill and not suitable for walking up or down the hill in high heels. Unless you drive everywhere I’d suggest not ideal for infirm guests/wheel chair users. Really appreciated the tea and coffee replenishment and lovely toiletries. The bed was ultra comfortable and we had wonderful views over the lake. "

"The Gibbston House was perfect! The owners/hosts, Mary & Terry were lovely and so hospitable. We truly enjoyed our stay for 4 nights. Each morning the breakfast was delicious, the afternoon snack and wine was superb and we loved chatting with Mary & Terry (hosts/owners) and also meeting all of the guests from around the world. We would highly recommend The Gibbston House B & B & Hope to return as soon as we can 🤗💕"

"View from the room was amazing. Room was also pretty cute. Lovely owner and very welcoming. Just wished the TV in my room was working. It also got bit noisy at night because of the other guest family and kids but somehow I managed to get an ok sleep if not a beauty one. Overall it was a good experience."
