"The room was clean and comfortable and the restaurant food and service really good. The hotel itself has a tired look to it, the bathroom badly needs redecorating, it was very dated. The original wood and all the walls have been painted a very drab grey and the corridor carpet is threadbare in places. "

"Wasn't expecting ensuite to be across the hall from our room, although the Guesthouse reminded me of my childhood family weekends away. A quiet peaceful place and hardly heard others coming and going. We ate at a local bar/ restaurant - expensive meal (exchange rates AUD the main reason) but delicious."

"This property is beautiful and well kept, the owner sent all access info in advance and when we arrived the property was clean warm and stocked with essentials. This was our second stay at the log cabins and we will DEFINITELY come back again."

"Loved the cottage Red Deer. We have stayed in the one bedroom before Brochure. Settee was a bit uncomfortable. No hairdryer although listed as having one, so had to go and buy a travel hairdryer. Disappointed that there wasn’t any hand soap provided in the bathroom Apart from that we would come back as it is very spacious. "

"Having read reviews left by other travellers I was slightly anxious before we arrived but I really didn't need to be. We paid a good price for two nights and were pretty happy with our stay. The room was comfortable, the bathroom was just fine, the breakfast was good too - not cold like others said. There is no parking onsite but that wasn't an issue for us, we charged the car nearby, parked onstreet and at our family's house. We'll be back to stay at the columba hotel again, as we regularly...

"We stayed a night while walking the Great Glen Way. It is literally on the route. Very welcoming and comfortable. Good breakfast. Ate dinner at the Glenmoriston Arms which was very good. "

"The jacuzzi tub was lovely! Just what I needed after a long drive. Room was very spacious and the bed was cozy/comfortable. Room service was convenient, albeit a limited menu. "

Best Western Inverness Palace Hotel & Spa

"The property was beautiful and the staff at reception were great. The only thing I was disappointed in was the parking. I chose this hotel because it offered free onsite parking. There was no parking available when we arrived and were told we had to find street parking. I was not familiar with the area and this is stressful, hoping the car will be alright and we won't have to walk far. Thankfully there was a gentlemen helping with parking who showed us where to go. I just wish we could have parked in the lot like we thought when we booked."
