"Our bathroom door was broken. There was no door lock. We used the bath mat to keep the door shut when using. The restaurant/bar next door was nice, the employees worked together like a family. Always nice to see."

"The Guest House was very convenient for a recent visit to the west coast of Scotland. Self-check in was made east by the entry code being emailed on the morning of my stay. The room was clean and tidy and fridge in room was handy. Complimentary breakfast items were convenient if basic. Only downside was the heater was on prior to my arrival, and the window didnt open, meaning it was uncomfotably hot during the stay. "

"Absolutely stunning. This hotel feels like it is at the ends of the earth, but it is so worth the effort to get there! Our room looked out on the North Sea with sweeping, gorgeous views. The staff was the best - all helpful. They suggested hikes in the area and pointed us to things the locals enjoy, making our stay even better. The restaurant was terrific - excellent food and staff. We loved everything about our stay and look forward to returning soon. "

"A lovely hotel. Clean, friendly, incredible views, great food, great whisky and a lovely spa. I haven’t stayed in a hotel of this quality for some time. Highly recommended and I’d definitely stay there again. "

"I had a fantastic stay at Skye Inn! The place has a really cosy and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were outstanding—friendly, attentive, and always happy to help with anything we needed. The breakfast was excellent, with a great selection of fresh and tasty options to start the day. The location is also a big plus—just a short and easy walk to the town centre and harbour, making it perfect for exploring Inverness. The only minor downside is that the rooms are a bit small And less utilities. "

"This was the best little hotel we stayed in while traveling through Scotland. I was skeptical based on reviews. But it was an efficient hotel. No frills, not fancy, older hotel. Could it use a renovation? Yes. Did it bother us? No!! It was clean. Restaurant was traditional. The staff was super sweet and treated us like family. Very understanding when the Texan had no clue how to turn on a radiator! 😂. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! The experience was worth more than fancy...

"Booked the room with the queen size bed and a pill out couch for the kiddo. Loved the vintage feel of the room except that the shower had a slow drain. We contacted the front desk and this young lady came over right away and fixed it. Great water pressure. We also had dinner at the restaurant and had a lovely view of Bradford Bay in front of the hotel. We were taken care of by the same young lady that checked us in and help us with the drain situation. Hideaway on an Isle of Skye Hillside

"Really unique accommodations. Very quiet and private "hides" or huts tucked on a hill overlooking beautiful Skye landscapes. A central building with an awesome dining room, bar and game/relaxing area is steps away. Check-in was fast and easy with friendly and professional staff. Only meals we ate here was breakfast and it was great. Service was great. Coffee was great. Poached eggs on avocado toast was great. Fruit and croissants were also great. Just a 10-12 minute stroll to Portree Harbor. Highly recommend. "

Fabulous stay!

"We had such an amazing stay at the Cuillen Hills Hotel. First, the weather in Skye this week has been perfect, just gorgeous. The room was comfortable, we opted for a premier room with a view of the water and the Cuillens. The setting of the hotel, on the water with the mountains in view cannot be beat. The food was delicious. But most notably, the staff were so helpful and accommodating. I hurt my knee coming down the Storr and they went out of their way to help. Ice packs, room service, arranging a taxi to a meal, and more. Thank you to everyone there! "
