The location of the property allowed us to visit many places during our stay and the caretakers local knowledge allowed us to find a beach close by for the dogs to play in the water. All in all, an excellent place to be in and be based from."

Unfortunately, the shower drain was clogged on arrival so we had to unclog a large amount and also had to buy toilet paper as no spare was obviously seen. These were minor issues compared to how our holiday went. Thank you."

"We had a great relaxing time staying a this Port Charlotte holiday rental. We were comfortable and it was nice to spread out in the multiple bedrooms and living areas. We took the opportunity to visit the town for meals and even a little live traditional music, and enjoyed waking the path along the coastline, complete with multiple rainbows and Highland Coos!"

"Located within view of the Bruichladdich Distillery, at the end of a small Cul de sac with a nice garden and great views. Amenities were as advertised, clean, and generally very well equipped. Perfect bolthole for our short Islay whisky trip for our group of 4 friends. A touch on the small side for 4 large men sharing rooms, but it worked and everything went very smoothly. "It was a wonderful cottage, conveniently located, with amazing views!! The cottage had everything you needed and was clean and well kept up! The hosts who live next door were very kind and helpful. I definitely plan to go back! My only tiny issue was on VRBO and cottages.com, that manages it, there was no reminder email sent before check in with details and no way to communicate with anyone. I followed the instructions for check in as listed, but if I had needed to arrive late or anything like...
