"This is such a gorgeous, peaceful place for a person on a car tour! It's perfect for those wishing to get off the beaten track, or have a base from which to plan day adventures to the ocean, the mountains, the lochs, etc. Blarghour Farm itself has a beautiful waterfall, a kayak launch, a glorious view of the Loch Awe, and lovely spring flowers. "We stayed in the cottage 24 years ago and loved it. It has not changed much. This is the charm of the place. The cottage is situated in a quiet setting on Loch Sunart and after exploring all day was a nice place to relax and unwind. Our host Charlie was great. We had a water issue and it was handled straight away. I hope to return soon. A week was to short."

"This is a lovely apartment that appears recently updated. The open kitchen/ living area has large windows and is spacious and nicely decorated. The location is great and an easy walk to restaurants and the main street in Oban. There is a large Tesco a 2 minute walk away. They offer daily parking at a reasonable rate. I wouldn't hesitate to book this apartment again."

"We booked through home and away so was surprised that all communication subsequently came from cottages.com ( who were obviously the property manager) and then discovered that if I had originally booked with them the cottage would have been cheaper- which was annoying . Also disappointed that due to a local land dispute a nearby resident had erected a fence and we were unable to access the Loch near the cottage"

"We stayed in ‘The Bothy’ at Artun. Mrs Cameron met us and made us feel welcome. The position of the Bothy was good for us as it was close to the loch and we saw an otter. We enjoyed the peaceful setting. Thank you."

"Booked this for my daughter and 2 grand children, last minute as her tent was broken by the adverse weather they was experiencing. They loved the property, they said it was very clean and well equipped and they loved the view of the mountains. Property is very close to a train station but my daughter said they didnt hear any noise from it."

"The property is a delight. It’s cosy clean and warm. Not many places offer a view of an ancient castle. Richard shows huge interest in how guests recycle.
