Very comfy well equipped older cottage. Keith was great to chat with. The 4 mile one track road in was slow due to the traffic to the Talisker Distillery but that is no fault of the cottage. "We loved our stay in Beachcomber Cottage. It was an ideal place to end our days and it had the same rural vibe as the rest of the Isle. Perfect for a family of four. It was very clean and well maintained with modern appliances in an otherwise traditional house with lots of history. Be sure to plan your arrival such that you arrive with all the groceries and supplies you will need, as Stein does not have anywhere to buy groceries or other necessities. "This hotel was such a gorgeous, quaint addition to our time in Scotland! It is a bit off-grid but so worth it. The staff were all warm and welcome, the property immaculate and beautiful, and the food from the restaurant was tasty. I would love to come stay here again! Perfect little spot :) "

"This was one our favorite hotels to stay at during our 10-day trip to Scotland! We loved the location, perfectly located to see all of what Isle of Skye has to offer. The hotel has lots of character and amazing views from the room. The room was very spacious, comfortable and updated. Also, the staff was fantastic!! Super friendly and helpful!!! The only disappointment was the hotel amenities indicated laundry, but apparently only available for emergencies. Overall, I would definitely recommend staying at the Sligachan hotel!"

"Very nice place to stay, great view from the room's window (Loch Dunvegan, Macleod's tables)! Mayanne was a nice host, always ready to help and give advice for activities and dining options. We immediately fell in love with her small dog and the two cats. Dunvegan is a good location to explore the northwestern part of Skye, but it's just a 30 min drive to Portree, too. Would definitely recommend!"
