"We were greeted with a smile and wonderful service. Parking was available for €7 per night. A lift took us up to the 4th floor. Our room was adequate. Enough space for two large suitcases. "It is close to the train station and the busy Cathedral Cologne and there can be some sense of a lot of people - but once you step inside it's a fabulous retreat. Great service, we had a beautiful room. The breakfast is very expensive and just "okay" so go across the street to the Cafe Richard. Close to the "historical sections" and close to the water. Would stay here again for sure."

"This is a gem of a hostel, you can't go wrong. We had a 6 bed room to ourselves and, while initially looking a little on the cramped side, it was no bother at all as we mainly spent our time out and about. Spotlessly clean, great en suite shower, firm mattresses (which I thought were great, but guess that's down to personal preference!) The hostel is a 25 min walk from the centre of Cologne (Dom & railway station etc) and located a few mins walk from the buzzing Belgian Quarter, but still...

"If all you need is a bed for the night this hotel is perfect. No frills but every you need. Great power shower! No kettle etc but I think that’s ok for the price. Very loud in the morning due to being next to a very busy road, not hotels fault though!"
