"Nice reception team when I arrived. It’s a big hotel with not too many staff. Wonder if they’re quite stretched, but good service. Building overall tired and shows signs of damp/crumbling in places but clean and general maintenance alright. Bathrooms seem new and they’re nice. Be warned, no lifts…so be prepared to puff your case up a few flights if you’re on the top floor. "

"The hotel is very attractive and in a good setting convenient for the motorway network. The rooms are nice . The staff could have been a bit more friendly we found them quite formal. We received conflicting information about the cost and availability of some services. "We had a two night stay. The hotel could do with some revamping, as some areas were looking a bit tired. The staff were really pleasant and helpful, and seemed to like working there.
