"This is a residential area. I didnt see any shops or places to eat nearby. However very close to train station. You need to check in with an emailed code. Room was fine and large. A very nice breakfast was included at the sister hotel a few doors down which was really good. Overall recommended but my big tip is dont expect nearby shops or places to eat. Is nice and quiet area. "

"Really lovely property with large spacious rooms. The host could not have been more friendly and accommodating. Would happily return The only negative is the use of shutters rather than a physical door between bathroom and bedroom. No noise reduction between the two rooms "

"Location was perfect, able to walk to all main sites, hotel just off main market square and canal with boat trips 1 min away. Staff at hotel excellent. Only minus if staying in guest house is there are no lifts and two flights of stairs but rooms are lovely."

"We had the most wonderful stay. It was exquisite. Unbelievable how perfectly it has been preserved with 14th century stained glass and a view from a fairytale. We were welcomed warmly by David who is a gifted artist and the breakfast was fine dining. We couldn’t have wished for a more perfect stay and we’re grateful he shared his gorgeous home. Don’t hesitate to book. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at B&B Cimbarsaca. The owner/host Luce was very gracious and accommodating, and also spoke perfect English. The property and our room were very clean, in immaculate condition, and well appointed. We could not have asked for a more comfortable accommodation. We would highly recommend B&B Cimbarsaca."

"Firstly this b&b is most certainly NOT in a rural location as described by Expedia and is definitely NOT multilingual. Just the one member of ‘staff’. The b&b is in the city centre and surrounded by buildings. The only parking is on street - if your lucky. The place does not have its own ‘free parking’ at all. We arrived at b&b at 20.00 after booking our room at 13.30 on the same day to find no one there. Proprietor eventually appeared from property next door as we phoned him and he had no idea...

"Fijn verblijf gehad. Alles werkte prima. Jammer dat de fundering van hout is als je buren veel heen en weer lopen, maar snachts gelukkig geen last van gehad. Ideale locatie als je Brugge wilt ontdekken. Het centrum is 10 a 15 minuutjes lopen. "

"Brilliant stay at this B&B as a family including our baby. We had plenty of space in our room and even had a smaller room joining in which we kept our luggage and our travel cot when our baby napped. The host was lovely and so helpful. She explained everything to us about breakfast service (which was so helpful for us as parents up super early and hungry). The host even provided a high chair for our baby. "We were made to feel very welcome when we arrived even though the owners had not realized we had booked. They did their best to get the room ready quickly. They provided us with an evening meal and a complimentary drink. The guesthouse is lovely and very freshly modern. Breakfast was great and had a lovely selection of foods. The room was very warm, however, even with windows open. Noise from the road traffic may put off light sleepers but this is not the fault of the owners."
