"Location was convenient and close to transportation, shopping and food. Lack of elevator made it hard to move heavy luggage up multiple flights of stairs. The dish sponge in our room had hair on it and we saw a cockroach in our room the first night. "

"Great location for Nara main attractions. Easy to find restaurants, next to a market, short walk to Nara Park. The place is new, easy to find and easy to use in general. Few things could be improved. Check in instructions were sent in Japanese only and we needed some codes to access the place so it wasn’t straight forward. "Booked this a a traditional Japanese experience for my family. Our host was lovely and very attentive giving us cold drinks and cold towels because it was so warm outside. There was a choice of Japanese or Western breakfast. Both were excellent, especially the Japanese which had fish, omelette, noodles and tea. Quiet area but restaurants nearby."

"Everything was great. Shower had a traditional japanese bath and shower setup with a sink just outside to wash in the morning. Several nearby shops for dinner and breakfast and the Tengachaya station is about 10 minute walk and can get you to the Namba area in maybe 20 mins. There are 4 futon beds and a couch on the first floor. The stairs up are about half my foot size so watch out when walking downstairs, and if you're 6ft also on the way up because i hit my head on the ceiling once haha....

"We wanted a place that was cheap and close to areas in Osaka that we wanted to explore. The location was only a 3-5 minute walk to Hanazonocho station so exploring Osaka was a breeze, this also made lugging around our luggage not the worst experience.
