"Incredibly delightful place, would highly recommend. It has a beautiful and soothing onsen, vending machines and great service + location. Much better than the place next door which has a rude and grumpy old man. ( ◠‿◠ )"

"Country Inn Canadian House exceeded our expectations; it is classy and down to earth. Masao and Yasuko are fabulous hosts. Meals were nutritious and delicious. All rooms/facilities were comfortable and clean. Masao provided shuttles to and from town, the slopes, and the train station. We would definitely stay there again. "

"The staff were amazing and very accommodating with bags. They actually have a pick up service depending on your arrival and departure times. This was a bonus since it worked out when we were leaving. Our room was very spacious and comfortable!"

"We had half board for 4 days. Breakfast was bread, eggs and bacon. Dinner was really amazing. 7 course meal. "

"Good value for the money. Five of us stayed in one room. The building was older and the amenities were basic but you get what you pay for. The service was friendly and excellent. He didn't speak much English but it was easy enough understanding what he was saying and he had signs in English as well to explain things. Because of covid the onsen/shower hours are reduced but it was still enjoyable. The room was clean and a heater was provided as well as hot water for tea. The futons were clean and...

"Lovely Japanese couple owned. Great room size and has public onsen. Easy access to ski slope via bus stop near front door. Down sides were the age of amenities and distance from main town for shopping and nightlife i.e. buses stopped at 6pm so was a 30 min walk home."
