Overall, much greater than I expected, and I already was excited for the stay. the restaurant overlooking the waterfalls and river, the troll garden stroll, the hot tubs. All superb. It is in a remote area and provided us an excellent view of the northern lights, which we watched from the hot tub. Ideal experience, I recommend giving it a shot. "

We had northern light shows both nights we stayed there and loved the sauna to warm up after a cold day on the glacier not too far from the cabin. The owner communicated very well and check in and out was very easy. We loved that the cabin is off the beaten path but also a 20 minute drive to restaurants and shops in Borgarnes. We would definitely stay here when we visit Iceland again. "
