Restaurant food is great (though limited vegetarian options- which is expected) and staff is super friendly and happy to help plan any outings. Hot baths are a great place to relax. Great for northern lights viewing as husafell has less light pollution."

"We stayed here for 1 night. We reached a bit after dark and it was our first night in Iceland. The guy at the reception did not understand much English. It was very dark as there is no light pollution. It would have been helpful if he had come with us to show the room, as we had to cross a little bridge after parking our car and we were fumbling in the dark. It is not far from the parking, or the main building, but he just gave us the keys and pointed outside, rather than just take the 5 min walk and show us the room. The breakfast was adequate and the view was good from the breakfast cafe. We did not see the northern lights that night, but the place can be great to see the northern lights. The cafe has microwave, and it is possible that they let you warm your own food there. The room had the coffee maker only. "

"This has to be one of the most unique stays in Iceland. If you’re considering booking it, you absolutely should. The view is incredible - you can see Icelandic horses, a mountain, and hot springs all from the top floor. The owner is very kind and accommodating, even offered to show us around the stables. The tower itself is definitely luxury and you will be comfortable during your stay here (heated floors included!). It’s close to Krauma hot springs and the drive to Thingvellir is quick and easy. We will definitely be back! "

"Beautiful, cozy, perfect little cottage for our family of 5. With a spectacular view of the river and mountains from every room, we enjoyed the hot tub late into the night. Perfectly clean, warm and comfortable beds. A hidden gem!! "

"Very clean and modern, amazing/comfortable beds, almost all the beds were queens and plenty of space for all. The hot tub was amazing and perfect temperature. Our host who lives right next door, was very nice and gracious, gave us a tour of her stable and even gave us some of her milk and cereal for the kids. We had an unforgeable experience in Iceland and this property was certainly the highlight. Very closely located to a mini mart, a spa and restaurants, all just a few minutes away. We even ended up doing a horse ride at the farm next door."
