"Hotel is ideally placed if you want to explore Winchester. Hotel restaurant Alfred’s serves amazing food albeit a bit expensive. Room is art deco in them. If you want to watch television though forget it. Digital channels cutting out continuously. Spa facilities are small. "

"Lovely hotel friendly staff. Room very spacious and comfortable. Location great parked in hotel carpark and could walk into town for food and drinks Short walk to The Anvil where we went to a show. Would book.again "

"The hotel is conveniently located just steps away from the high street. It has a beautiful garden and the breakfast buffet is delicious. The staff are nice and helped us carry our luggage to our room as well."

"Very clean and close to town Based in the racecourse which I would guess is a pain to get to when the races are on but was great for my stay arriving in the evening and leaving early Dining options available and a nice bar area with very good staff Would def stay again "
