"We stayed 2 nights over the New Year. It is very near my family so very convenient. We had our dog with us and were given an amazing room on the ground floor with a door to the garden. Very convenient. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. I won't stay anywhere else now when I visit the family. Food is very good, we have eaten here with family before, and we were able to take dog into breakfast so no worries about leaving him in the room. We thoroughly recommend this hotel! Thank you Potters Heron for a lovely stay. The dog loved it too!"

There was a problem with our meal on the first night but the waitress, Olivia, did everything she could to make the issue not feel so bad, and then we were given a most generous reduction to the bill. These things happen, but it’s how they are dealt with makes up for it. Lovely, relaxing stay."
