It was a charming place to stay. We used it as our home base for the week while we visited Kennebunkport & Portland for a couple days. Location is perfect & quiet. "If you are good with an authentic rustic environment- complete with small rodent catch and release trap under the stairs, a little water coming in the bedroom ceiling when it rains, bugs galore, and supplying your own drinking water— then OK. Everyone else consider yourselves forewarned. There has been absolutely no maintenance done on this property in decades. The local staff are wonderful."

"Had a wonderful long weekend enjoying the lovely, well appointed home. Michelle has gone above and beyond in thoughtfully stocking the house to make your stay convenient and enjoyable. Everything is new, clean and very high quality. We enjoyed the hot tub after long day skiing. We had a small snow accumulation while there and the driveway was quickly treated with cinders to make it safer for out cars. Thanks again and we are already planning our return! "
