The house was stocked with everything we would need and the hosts were very attentive. Helpful Info was provided on activities and shopping in the area. One suggestion for future guests is to bring reading lights, since lighting in common areas was rather dim. "

Our only challenge is we had hot water issues, but Tom was very responsive and helpful. "Property exactly as described. Older house, but very clean - even the downstairs furnace room/laundry room. I was impressed by that! The layout was fun- very spacious, can sleep lots of people. It was a charming place to stay. We used it as our home base for the week while we visited Kennebunkport & Portland for a couple days. Location is perfect & quiet. Quick & easy to get to downtown Stowe."

"There are a lot of good things about our stay. We loved being able to walk through Stowe at all hours. We loved the convenience of having a market right next door. And I was able to get a haircut right downstairs. The rec path was close and delightful to walk on. But we had no hot water--none--for the entire stay. Before arriving we were told the hot water heater needed a part that wouldn't be available for 3 days. We were even offered another rental to use instead, but it wasn't right downtown...
