There were a few old board games for the kids, but not much else for them to do when it was raining. The TV worked well, and we had internet. "We had a great 10th anniversary trip at Kimberly’s garden cottage. Drinking coffee on the back porch each morning and exploring the garden was lovely. There are hummingbirds, butterflies and a variety of plants. Bed was comfortable, good water pressure and the kitchen/bath had everything we needed. The location was private and it was a quick trip into Montpelier, and convenient to hiking (Camel’s Hump & Mt Elmore 45 minutes) and some great local ponds. Would definitely come stay again!"

"The location of the house and barn is excellent. For whatever reason we did not pickup on the fact that there are two buildings. Since there were only two of us we only used the house. Also there is no A/C in the barn. The house is an antique so it has a lot of charm. It is well equipped and we found it to be a comfortable place to spend 2 weeks. "Property exactly as described. Older house, but very clean - even the downstairs furnace room/laundry room. I was impressed by that! The layout was fun- very spacious, can sleep lots of people. It was a charming place to stay. We used it as our home base for the week while we visited Kennebunkport & Portland for a couple days. Location is perfect & quiet. Quick & easy to get to downtown Stowe."
