"The building itself is extremely old however you can tell the workers try their very best to keep every inch clean and dust free. It’s an eclectic hotel setting so don’t expect a Hilton look or anything built in the past 50 years. The beds were amazing and comfortable, linens were high quality and again, very clean and sanitized (thank you so much). We even had an air filter in our room that they installed as an add on and it ran quietly and effectively. The only crux I have is the toiletries, lack thereof. We were only given a very small bottle of shampoo, 2 bars of soap and a very small bottle of body lotion, for 2 guests. Not that I expect a lot but for it being called “grand” they should at least have in the bathrooms - shampoo, conditioner, body lotion and the soap bars, as well as enough for 2 people not to feel as if they have to ration supplies between themselves. Staff are super friendly and well knowledged in their tasks, very genuine when speaking to guests and anticipated needs as well. If I come through Baker City I would stay there again and will recommend them to friends. "
